Description
Responsibilities:
1. Provide personalized customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including clothing, accessories, and footwear, to effectively guide customers in their purchasing decisions.
3. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
4. Actively engage with customers to understand their preferences, offer styling advice, and suggest complementary items to complete their outfits.
5. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS (Point of Sale) system, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment.
6. Assist with inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves, monitoring product levels, and conducting periodic stock checks.
7. Stay updated on current fashion trends, brand promotions, and sales campaigns to effectively communicate product information to customers.
8. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
9. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer interactions, product handling, and store operations.
10. Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships with shoppers.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education in fashion merchandising or retail management is a plus.
2. Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the fashion industry.
3. Passion for fashion and a keen eye for style trends; knowledge of fashion designers, brands, and garment construction techniques is desirable.
4. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively.
6. Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks as needed.
8. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
9. Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
10. Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills for transaction processing and inventory management.
